Responsibilities:

AV and IT Setup: Set up various AV and IT equipment in our new studios according to the plans provided by our Broadcast Engineer.
Camera Installation: Assemble and install professional video cameras, including lenses, on-board monitors, and power supplies. Ensure all components are connected correctly.
Studio Wiring: Run low-voltage wiring, including video, audio, and network cabling throughout the studios and facility. Install server racks, cameras, NVR/DVR systems, and other key technology components.
Cable Management: Handle SDI, XLR, and Ethernet cables, including tipping, crimping, and testing as part of the installation process.
Lighting Installation: Install professional studio lighting fixtures and modifiers according to the lighting plan.
Technical Troubleshooting: Analyze and repair any technical issues with equipment and systems, minimizing downtime by quickly identifying and implementing alternative solutions.
Flexible Hours: Be prepared to work 8-hour shifts, including nights, to ensure the smooth operation of our studio facilities.

Requirements:

Technical Skills: Proficient in assembling, disassembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing computers and hardware.
Test Equipment: Experience using basic test equipment like multimeters, with a solid understanding of AC/DC circuitry.
Component Installation: Strong experience in installing and soldering components on printed circuit boards according to specifications.
Operating Systems: Skilled in installing and configuring Windows and Linux operating systems.
Peripheral Devices: Competence in installing and configuring computer peripheral devices and drivers.
AV Equipment: Hands-on experience with audio/visual equipment and troubleshooting, along with a basic understanding of television control room environments.
Video and Sound Equipment: Basic knowledge of operating video cameras and a fundamental understanding of sound equipment, including microphones and audio mixers.
Learning Orientation: A strong desire to learn new technical skills and grow within the role.
