ARRISE has donated €10,000 to the Asociatia Ateliere Protejate , a Romanian non-governmental organisation that works with adults with disabilities through its accredited day centre.

The organisation provides specialised work environments where individuals with disabilities can develop professional skills, train, and earn an income in a supportive setting.

ARRISE has donated €4,000 to the Bulgarian Antarctic Institute to support the travel of two Bulgarian journalists to the permanent Bulgarian Antarctic Base during the 2026 expedition.

The contribution will help fund the journalists’ participation in the expedition, enhancing public awareness of scientific research and Bulgaria’s role in Antarctic exploration, with the end goal being a documentary highlighting the work that the Institute does.

ARRISE has donated €7,692 to the King Boris and Queen Giovanna - Royal Palace Vrana Fund, supporting the organisation’s mission to preserve and promote Bulgaria’s royal and cultural heritage.

The donation contributes to the restoration of the Palace’s renowned Versailles Breakfast Room, one of its most iconic and elegant spaces. Once completed, the room will be opened to the public as a permanent exhibition featuring the historic Meissen porcelain collection of Princess Clementine, daughter of the last French King, Louis Philippe I.

ARRISE has donated €17,895 to the BCause Foundation in support of its national initiative for women survivors of domestic violence across Bulgaria.

The donation will be utilised to fund the ‘Support for Women Victims of Domestic Violence’ programme, which provides essential grants to local NGOs nationwide. These grants support urgent and long-term assistance for survivors, including psychological counselling, legal aid, access to emergency medical care, shelter essentials and vocational training programmes aimed at helping women rebuild independent lives.

ARRISE has donated €10,000 to the Romanian Institute for Active Ageing, supporting the organisation’s goal to improve the quality of life for seniors across Romania.

The contribution has provided a boost to a broad array of ongoing initiatives, promoting healthy, active, and socially connected ageing. These include the Digital Security Program for Seniors, the Senior Running & Physical Activity initiative, and the Senior Writers Program, which encourages intergenerational dialogue through storytelling and creative expression.

ARRISE also participated in the organisation’s third edition of the National Congress on Active Ageing, which brings together researchers, practitioners, and senior communities from across Romania each year to share knowledge, innovation, and best practices in active ageing.

ARRISE has donated €40,000 to Fundatia Speranta pentru Copiii Romaniei de pe langa Spitalul Clinic de Copii Maria Sklodowska-Curie, reinforcing its ongoing commitment to children’s health and wellbeing in Romania.

The contribution will assist the Paediatric Department of the ‘Marie Curie’ Emergency Hospital for Children in Bucharest. The funds will be allocated to acquire essential medical equipment and cover operational costs across several specialised units, including paediatric oncology, neonatal intensive care, cardiology and chronic disease management.

ARRISE has donated €15,338.40 to the Animal Rescue Sofia Foundation, supporting essential shelter operations and veterinary care for vulnerable animals across Bulgaria.

The donation covers three key areas: funding winter heating at The Farm shelter, purchasing specialised equipment for the Francisca Veterinary Clinic, and virtually adopting Bond, a special-needs dog and long-standing resident of the shelter.

ARRISE has donated €6,620 to the ‘Adopt a Hive’ initiative, which is led by Bee Smart Technologies AD (Istinski Med). This contribution reinforces ARRISE's commitment to protecting biodiversity and promoting environmental sustainability in Bulgaria.

The donation helped support the adoption of 10 beehives, directly benefiting local beekeepers and enhancing regional bee populations. This is a crucial step in preserving biodiversity and strengthening food security.

ARRISE has donated €15,000 to the World Animal Veterinary Emissaries (WAVE) organisation, reinforcing its ongoing support for animal welfare through access to free and affordable veterinary care.

Funds were allocated to continue the hospital’s activity through essential medical needs, including sterilisation, vaccinations, surgeries, and emergency treatments, delivered through the Homeless Animal Hospital program to animals without the support they deserve.

ARRISE has donated €30,000 to Autism Voice, the largest Romanian association specialising in the recovery and social integration of children and young people with autism.

For over a decade, the organisation has been a national leader in providing evidence-based therapy, pioneering Romania’s first ABA therapist training programmes and developing innovative inclusion projects, including the country’s first microplants farm for young people with autism. As part of their activity, they organize every year the “Balul Bucuriei” event, to gather funds that help support their ongoing projects and activity. ARRISE has been part of this yearly event for the last 3 years.

ARRISE has donated €20,000 to Asociatia Zetta, a Romanian non-governmental organisation dedicated to supporting women in vulnerable situations who require complex plastic surgery, including breast reconstruction and reconstructive microsurgery following their battle with breast cancer.

Founded in 2017 by Zetta Hospital and Dr. Dragos Zamfirescu, the association has organised over 440 pro bono surgical interventions, with Zetta’s medical team generously providing their expertise free of charge.

ARRISE has donated €10,000 to ‘Let’s Do It, Romania!’, reaffirming its ongoing support for the country’s largest civic movement.

The donation helped the successful launch of National Cleanup Day 2025, the NGO’s flagship initiative, which mobilised over 230,000 volunteers from all counties of Romania to clear waste from forests, rivers, public spaces, and natural areas.

ARRISE has donated €18,400 to the Eyes on Four Paws Foundation, a pioneering Bulgarian NGO that trains guide and assistance dogs to support individuals who are blind or living with diabetes and epilepsy.

The donation covers the full cost of training a guide dog, including veterinary care, foster support, socialisation, and specialised instruction. This contribution directly supports the training of Urania, a Labrador who has now been successfully paired with her new owner.

ARRISE has donated €15,000 to Maria’s World Foundation, a non-profit organisation based in Sofia that aims to improve the quality of life for people with intellectual disabilities.

Contributing to an upgrade of the foundation’s training kitchen, the donation helped to fund the purchase of new equipment, including three workbenches, two shelves, a fully equipped stove, and a commercial dishwasher. These upgrades will enhance the organisation’s capacity to deliver culinary training to the 61 individuals currently enrolled in its programmes.

ARRISE has donated €15,000 to BookLand, a Romanian NGO which provides educational opportunities for young people. This contribution will support the construction of Romania’s first fully free pre-university vocational campus in Vulturești, Argeș County.

Set to welcome its first 300 students in September 2025, the campus will implement Romania’s first rural Dual Education System, which combines theoretical study with practical vocational training, preparing students for secure careers in their communities.

ARRISE has donated €10,000 to the Visul Luanei Foundation, a Romanian NGO that rehabilitates injured, sick, or orphaned wild animals before releasing them back into their natural habitat.

The goal is to safeguard wild animals for generations. Through rehabilitation and release, the foundation ensures these animals can contribute to the survival and growth of their populations. Each successful rescue helps to maintain biodiversity, protect fragile ecosystems, and secure the future of species.

ARRISE has donated €20,000 to the Zetta Association to help fund reconstructive surgeries for women affected by breast cancer. This donation, marking our second contribution to the Zetta Association, coincided with International Breast Reconstruction Day, celebrated at Zetta Hospital in Bucharest, Romania.

Reconstructive surgery can help to restore both the physical health and emotional wellbeing of patients who have had breast cancer. During the October event, our team was inspired by the stories of patients who had successfully undergone treatment. We also gained a deeper understanding of the commitment and dedication of the doctors and medical staff who perform these surgeries entirely pro bono. ARRISE is deeply proud to continue supporting the Zetta Association in its inspiring mission to empower women and offer a renewed sense of hope and a new beginning to those whose lives have been affected by breast cancer.

The Niciodata Singur Association is committed to helping the elderly in Romania. Habitat for Humanity Romania is dedicated to transforming lives through sustainable housing solutions. We were honoured to support their cause with a €30,000 donation, which will contribute to the charity’s New Homes Project in Berceni, Prahova County, helping to construct four semi-detached houses for low-income families.

By funding essential construction materials, including windows, doors, insulation, and roofing, we are helping to create safe, affordable homes that provide long-term stability for vulnerable families. Our donation will also empower community volunteers, who are instrumental in the building process, ensuring that this project not only delivers homes, but also fosters community involvement and self-reliance.

ARRISE has donated €15,000 to Let’s Do It, Romania! The Romanian-based charity organises clean-up days with thousands of volunteers and hosts workshops on the importance of sustainability to foster a culture of environmental care and protection.

ARRISE’s donation will go towards the enhancement of the organisation’s mobile app, which allows volunteers to mobilise effectively by reporting littered areas, joining clean-up efforts, and tracking their environmental contributions.

ARRISE has pledged €15,000 to Academia Faptelor Bune. The charitable organisation supports orphaned children, people with disabilities, and the homeless via its social and educational centres in Romania’s most remote locations.

The donation will assist in providing air-conditioning units and educational supplies for the school and social centre in Ganeasa, which will enable the facility to continue operating as a safe haven.

On International Women’s Day, we made a €10,000 donation on behalf of Pragmatic Play to the ANAIS Association, a charitable organisation that promotes gender equality, defends the rights of women, and supports victims of domestic violence.

ANAIS was founded in 2011 with the intention of enacting change, both through the foundation of support networks and by campaigning for alterations to local policy and legislation. In over a decade since its inception, ANAIS’ team of psychologists, psychotherapists, lawyers, trainers, and volunteers has worked tirelessly to support women and children. The donation will enable ANAIS to continue its invaluable work and make progress towards a safer community for those affected.

The team at ARRISE joined hands with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) in a bid to support the preservation of vital ecosystems, presenting the organisation with a €10,000 donation on behalf of Pragmatic Play.

The WWF has been working since 2006 to protect the wilderness in the Carpathian Mountains and along the Danube by protecting and restoring rivers, forests, freshwater ecosystems, and local communities.

The contribution assisted the WWF’s Earth Hour event at the Botanical Garden in Bucharest this March, which saw participation from over 50,000 individuals actively engaging in a series of events to improve sustainability and biodiversity across Romania. The donation marks ARRISE’s wider commitment to aiding environmental causes and supporting wildlife conservation.

The ARRISE team has presented a donation of €20,000 to the Asociatia Milioane de Prieteni (the “Millions of Friends Association”) on behalf of Pragmatic Play. The contribution will help to progress two animal welfare projects at the Libearty Bear Sanctuary in Zarnesti, Romania, with a new baby bear enclosure and installation of heat pumps each receiving €10,000. The previous enclosure could support only two bear cubs, but the new area spans 3,380 square meters and includes a pool – enough for four baby bears to thrive. The funding will also ensure a constant supply of fresh water, enabling the young bears to live in a safe, healthy environment, while the donation towards the heat pumps will reduce heating costs for the administrative and medical zones.

Members of the ARRISE team in Malta have volunteered at Soup Kitchen OFM Valletta this month, helping to feed those in need while presenting a €10,000 to the organisation, made on behalf of Pragmatic Play. Soup Kitchen OFM Valletta offers healthy, balanced and nutritious meals, both to the homeless and those affected by food insecurity in Valletta and Floriana. The non-profit organisation has also extended its services to offer a range of amenities, including meditation groups, computer classes, live music, and shower facilities. Our donation will contribute to the installation of an air-conditioning system, which will be much needed at the centre during the hot summer months.

The team at ARRISE travelled to Fort Rinella to present another €20,000 donation made on behalf of Pragmatic Play.

Fondazzjoni Wirt Artna, the Malta Heritage Trust, is a dedicated non-governmental organisation committed to preserving and managing Malta’s cultural heritage. The funding will contribute to the preservation of Fort Rinella, a distinctive Victorian fort used throughout WW2 and the last century that features historic remnants of Malta’s colonial past. Supporting non-profits like Fondazzjoni Wirt Artna helps to safeguard national heritage and celebrate the stories of those connected to locations like Fort Rinella.

The team at ARRISE enjoyed a day of festive cheer with Alternativa 2003 Association, joined by Santa and one of his elves, to present a €10,000 donation made on behalf of Pragmatic Play.

The association provides alternative services for young people in Romania with intellectual disabilities such as Down syndrome. The funding will contribute towards the association’s endeavours in the areas of education, vocational training, social assistance, and counselling. In supporting initiatives such as Alternativa 2003 Association, we recognise the importance of promoting social integration and acceptance for people with intellectual disabilities.
