ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and analytical Operational Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will support the company’s day-to-day financial operations by ensuring accurate invoice processing, timely payments, and full compliance with internal policies and applicable accounting standards.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Invoice Management: Receive, review, and verify vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, legitimacy, and proper authorization.
ERP Processing: Upload and accurately code invoices in the ERP system.
Vendor Verification: Validate vendor details, including tax IDs and banking information, through independent checks.
Process Improvement: Collaborate with procurement to streamline invoicing workflows and resolve billing issues. Be involved in other ad-hoc process improvements.
Payments Execution: Prepare and execute payments in a timely and controlled manner according to due dates.
Cash Flow Oversight: Perform daily bank reconciliations and monitor cash positions to maintain strong liquidity
Expense Control: Monitor advances, prepayments, and expense reimbursements.
Compliance: Support VAT filings, Intrastat reporting, and internal audit documentation

WHAT WE ASK OF YOU

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
A minimum of one year’s experience in operational accounting or a similar accounting role.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Conversational level of English.
