Role Requirements:

The System Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of an organization’s IT systems and infrastructure. This role ensures the reliability, performance, and security of systems and services while providing technical support to end-users and managing system-related issues.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure lifecycle management of operating systems, server hardware, and software applications, including configuration, maintenance, updates, and upgrades, to maintain security, stability, and performance.
  • Manage and maintain file servers, server infrastructure (including virtualization and hypervisor platforms - e.g.: VMware vSphere/ESXi, Proxmox, Hyper-V, KVM), network devices, UPS units, and endpoint systems, including setup, configuration, and lifecycle support.
  • Manage, maintain, and optimize the wireless infrastructure, including access points, controllers, monitoring systems, security configurations, coverage planning, performance tuning, and lifecycle management (e.g., UniFi-based environments or equivalent platforms).
  • Ensure systems are configured and operated in accordance with organizational policies, industry best practices, applicable standards, and regulatory/compliance requirements.
  • Develop, manage, and regularly test backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity, availability, and operational continuity.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions and scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Bash,
  • Python, infrastructure automation tools) to eliminate repetitive manual tasks and efficiently execute large-scale operations involving bulk updates, configuration changes, and mass deployment across multiple systems and devices.
  • Implement and manage security controls (firewalls, antivirus, encryption) and conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to mitigate risks.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using monitoring tools, proactively identifying issues and improvement areas before user impact.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring timely resolution and service continuity.
  • Manage identity, authentication, authorization, and access control mechanisms (user accounts, permissions, roles, group policies) across systems and platforms, in alignment with security and company policies.
  • Provide tiered technical support for system-level issues, including diagnosis and resolution of infrastructure-related incidents, escalations, and complex operational problems.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and prepare regular reports on system configurations and performance, incidents, procedures and maintenance activities.
  • Work closely with other teams and departments to support projects and initiatives that require system administration expertise.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of system migrations, upgrades, and new deployments.
  • Maintain optimal operational conditions in server rooms, including organization, cleanliness, rack management, cabling and airflow, while enforcing access control rules and intervention standards for all teams interacting with the IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure continuous operational presence, professional availability during working hours, and sustained focus on critical activities, without behaviors that impact task execution, service delivery, or operational accountability.
  • Ensure independent planning, organization, and execution of assigned activities, with full ownership of responsibilities and deliverables, without operational dependency on other roles for task coordination, tracking, or completion.

  Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience as a System Administrator.
  • Experience with Cisco equipment (having a CCNA certification would be ideal).
  • Strong knowledge of networking.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux server administration.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and managing cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
What We Offer:
  • Competitive Salary.
  • Paid Training to ensure you are well-versed in the company’s quality standards and procedures.
  • Private health insurance, daily meal at the office, weekly therapeutic massage, 7card subscription and a quarterly bonus.
